Golf Courses

Arroyo del Oso

Located in the Bear Canyon Arroyo, from which the course gets its name, and which makes for interesting topography. While it is not a tough course, the large greens, rolling fairways, three water-hole obstacles, and sand traps make it best suited for the intermediate  to advanced player with 6,545 yards Par 72 for men and 6,015 yards  at Par 73 for women Arroyo del Oso was rated in the top 50 Municipal Golf Courses in the Country by Golf Digest Magazine in 1981.

Ladera

Located on the far west side of Albuquerque, west of the Rio Grande River, measuring 7,060 yards from the championship tees, 6,618 from the regulation tees with  a Par 72, and 5,966 yards, also a Par 72 from the women's tee. Ladera is the most challenging city owned course with the longest playing yardage of the four cities owned courses.

Los Altos

The course was built to favor the weekend golfer with a natural slice. In general, the course was designed for relatively fast play. Los Altos is ideal for the beginner to intermediate golfer, measuring 6,180  yards from the men's tees, at par 71, and 5,895 yards from the  women's tees, at par 74.
